New Hope

The zest of keeping your fire alive must never be drained and moving forward in life must be your wishful aim, with a tinge of desire to work hard sprinkled over the formula for your success.

With the coming of this new year, it would only be apt to revive and renew a few patches of memory that may have lost their colour over the ages.

Point-1:

There is always a way to stand up straight no matter what and there is more than one way to win anything. You could lose by winning without dignity or you could win by losing with dignity, it is always your choice. But, of course, there is never such a thing as losing in the first place- there is only winning:

The claim above has been supported by the quote (or historical proof, as I call it) below:

"I have not failed 700 times. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work." (Thomas Edison,)

[Inserts 'Rocky Balboa' scene - "It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward".]

One must always keep learning and improving oneself and that is the MAIN part of the story. Edison may not have been a winner from the start, but the world saw him as one. On another note: The world even saw him as a perfect man, but did he think of himself as so? No, he said he wasn't perfect and that's what kept him going and growing.

Moral: If one or a number of failures is enough to stop you, how will you or the world continue to advance? Do you stop when you find a bump on the ground, or do you jump over it?

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Point-2:

If you can't look up to yourself, who will? It is good to keep on going in life and look after each other.

Point-3:

Hats off to the optimist for making joy a reality and always keeping the glass full! Either with water, air or both: and this "optimist" should not be 'someone else', this optimist has always been and should be YOU!

Something makes us humans different from animals and those are our advanced senses. Let's not misuse them.

Point- 4:

Made a mistake? It's never too late to move on and change or rectify it. But, remember not to repeat it again, even by accident.

Point-5:

With the coming new year and for all other years (life) to come, I hope everybody's resolution is to be happy and make things easy for others to live with, or in other words- make people happy and stay happy.

Follow your dreams! But don't make your life one way and forget about the other important things that come with it! (like humanity, family, giving to others and what not)
